Separation
These birds represent a separation; one bird is taking its journey into the spirit world while the other continues its path in the physical world. The colors represent peace and calmness through this transitional state of life, that beauty is maintained through their different paths.

Oil and Cold wax on Multi-media Board, Powder graphite, Ebony drawing pencil, and Makers.
Techniques:
Under layer is where lining is created, followed by texture/dimension, use of powdered marble for added texture, etching through paint to show underlying layers and lines.
